As part of the Institute for Strategy and Complexity Management (ISCM), operating worldwide, and headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, with a focus on scenario-building and complex decision-making simulations, Corporate Intelligence Consulting Services (CICS) was established in 2006 with headquarters in Dubai, UAE as a modern launch vehicle focused on management consulting and professional knowledge management, helping government, private sector, and business leaders nurture the simple implementation of complexity management.

About ISCM
The Institute for Strategy Complexity Management (ISCM) is an institute for research and education with a focus on scenario-building and complex decision-making simulations.
ISCM works with governmental and business leaders at international and national levels to help them make better decisions. Our award-winning ViewPoint Model(VPM) methodology and Impact Analyzer software are considered to be leading in the field of risk analysis, scenario-building and simulations.
For this reason we participate in international, complex projects as advisors, trainers and facilitators.
The ISCM approach integrates systems thinking and system dynamics. Many years of practical application of these principles have led to a hands-on approach and toolkit. In contrast with other approaches and methods, ISCM’s method is easy to comprehend and apply.

Bassem Al Otaiby

A global futurist and innovation strategist who helps leaders decode trends, decipher what’s next and turn provocative questions into proactive strategies.
An expert in business strategy and development, Bassem Al Otaiby was a senior consultant in the Executive Office, Government of Dubai – United Arab Emirates for five years, working directly with the Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
He served as a consultant for over 20 specialized training programs, developing over 2000, top level executives. He has also introduced several fundamental training solutions in the fields of Strategy & Planning, Performance Management, Leadership Development, Business Process Management and Human Resource Development.
One of Bassem’s key professional achievements was the adoption of IIP – UK Standard by two UAE government entities: Emirates Transport and the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development.
Bassem holds an MBA from New Hampshire College, USA. and Bachelor Degree (honers) from UAE University and five specialized degrees including Certified Control Self Assessment (CCSA) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certifications from USA. He is also a certified EFQM Master Assessor, an EFQM C2E Validator and DQA Award Team Leader.
Following his vision to enrich the knowledge of corporate development and capacity building, Bassem has dedicated a big part of his career to empower the professional community of consultants with 8 key titles in management, leadership, corporate development, future foresight, digital leadership, human resource management, work processes and agile management.
Bassem is a keynote speaker with extensive knowledge and a pioneer in ‘corporate intelligence’ as a developed approach for smart and effective management mechanism.
